With Nyhart since 2011, Ashley is responsible for organizational development, talent acquisition, performance management, policy recommendation, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and all functions that deal with the needs and activities of Nyhart's employees.

Prior to joining Nyhart, she worked with large, highly regulated organizations. She has been essential in employee relations, benefits administration, developing employee programs and policies, wellness initiatives and other HR related functions.

Responsibilities:

This position provides administrative support to our Retirement / Defined Benefit team. Duties will include maintaining confidential files, preparing reports, data entry, coordinating meetings, and other responsibilities as assigned.

Call Center Supervisor

Indianapolis, IN

As part of one of the nation’s largest independent benefit consulting firms, you will help to direct our contact center and maximize the performance of our team.

The Call Center Supervisor must have customer service and call center supervisory experience. To help us achieve success in conjunction with our growth, the ideal candidate must also be organized, reliable, possess good communicate skills and proven success motivating a team.

Responsibilities:

Compliance Specialist/Plan Administrator

Kansas City, MO

Nyhart is a nationwide actuarial and benefit consulting firm. We are currently seeking experienced plan administrators to join our Defined Contribution team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of defined contribution plans, including calculations, testing and reporting
  • Communicate and provide support to participants and clients regarding plan operations, policy and compliance
  • Provide design and other suggestions to reduce costs and optimize benefit plan
  • Interpret legal documents and current IRS code and ERISA regulations. Keep abreast of appropriate tax laws, regulations, trends, and issues that may affect plan administration.
  • Perform annual compliance review and update plans as needed.
  • Prepare and/or review, in a timely manner, Form 5500 for the plan or gather data for the preparation of Form 5500. Promptly respond to any IRS notices regarding Form 5500 and assist in preparation of other required regulatory filings.
  • Participate in internal and external audit inquiries as well as regulatory inspections as required.

  • Minimum 2 years defined contribution administration experience
